The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that a 22-year old man, Robert Paul Jaroma, Jr., was arrested today for the arson of six vehicles - all of which appear to have been owned by people he knew and with whom he was angry.
What made him so angry? No one knows, but it sounds so far like a bunch of friends who let the wrong person into their circle.
The real question is what is State Attorney Norm Wolfinger’s office going to charge him with — and will they pursue significant criminal charges against him. If we find out what area of Palm Bay these vehicle fires took place, we’ll post it here. They happened at 2 in the morning, so consider getting an inexpensive webcam to monitor your driveway if you have to leave your vehicles parked outside. Palm Bay has had a significant car theft / vandalism problem for many years, especially in certain areas.
