Monday afternoon and the visioning process is over. From attending for an hour on Friday afternoon, I must say it was very well attended, almost standing room only, and what the group of 70 or so very concerned citizens were doing in working around tables of 10 or so, discussing various subject such as, 'most attractive, most important, least important' all in the context of what and how it affects Titusville in the future. I have been to these visioning sessions in the past, in fact we had "Transformation Titusville" back in 1995 and it went on for several years until it just wore itself out due to lack of interest, and lack of leadership.

It will take time to see how much traction this visioning process takes. With real estate in the gutter, with taxes and insurance still up in the air, this might be a difficult time to discuss the future, as we have some tough times up here in Titusville, and then factor in the shuttle layoffs, just around the corner, and our difficlut times may get unmanageable. We shall see how much vision our citizens get out of 'the visioning' of Titusville, circa 2007.
