She approved a brochure in which she claims that the Property Appraisers Annual budget has increased 70% from 2002-03 to this year. Florida Today 7/9/2008, front page. She goes on to play the blame game as she stated "Somebody Screwed Up". Fancy that Helen, You screwed up. How about taking a little ownership for what you allowed to to be printed and mailed to absentee voters. The first mail piece from you that I recieved was the "Fear Factor" piece. Imediately attacking Jim Fords on the investigation of his office. While I question what has happened in Jim Fords office, I do not need to hear it from you. He has not been charged with anything. Innocent until proven quilty is the way the United States works Mrs Voltz. I do not beleive that you will bring anything new to the office of the Property Appraiser with the exception of re-cycling a politician that needs to stay home. Her recent debacle with Western Waste and the overkill decision which would have created difficulty, both physically and economically for county citizens, is one case in point of being out of touch with Brevard voters. Several people emailed her with their disapproval and plea to change her vote and all (including myself) were met with disdain.
